fish store has become my favorite LFS.. For one, this place has a machine
shop in the back for creating custom glass or acrylic tanks, not to mention
the associated stands and hoods. In the front of the shop is a respectable
showroom. In the back area is a section where they have live rock, and
coral. Their sellection of live rock seems to be the best in DFW. You
could order LR from online, or go to TranquilScape and save yourself the

I finally wanted to see what all the fuss was about at Tranquil Scape.
I always hear people talking about it on the boards and just talking to
friends. Today, I drove from Plano to see for myself. As soon as I opened
the door, Vincent met me with a handshake and an introduction. After telling
me a little about himself and his operation, he took me on a tour of his
store. His tanks are beautiful, clean, and full of very impressive corals.
If you haven't been out there to check it out, I would highly suggest
doing so. The shop was well worth the trip for me. Thanks agiain Vincent

I spent about an hour in the store talking with the owner, Vincent. I
know the man was busy but he didn't let that on to me at all. He is very
knowledgeable and treats you as if you are his best and only customer.
The tanks in his store are pristine. The livestock is pristine. His prices
on his custom tanks can't be beat. I will definitely be using Tranquil
Scape to build my in-wall tank in the coming months, and I doubt if I'll
be buying my livestock anywhere else. If you don't visit another reef
shop this year, absolutely make time to stop in and see Vincent and his
